How quickly can care start?

In most cases we can complete a free assessment within 48 hours and begin planned visits within a few days. Where a hospital discharge or urgent need is involved, we will always tell you honestly what we can safely arrange and how soon.

Is the assessment really free?

Yes. The initial conversation and home assessment are completely free and carry no obligation. You will receive a written summary of what support we would recommend, the suggested visit pattern and clear costs before deciding anything.

Will the same carer visit every time?

Consistency is central to how we work. We build a small, familiar team around each client so you see the same faces, with planned cover for holidays and sickness rather than last-minute strangers.

Are your carers DBS checked and trained?

Every care worker holds an enhanced DBS check, provides full references and completes our induction covering safeguarding, moving and handling, medication, infection control and person-centred care. Training is refreshed and supervision is ongoing.

What are the minimum visit lengths?

Standard visits start at 30 minutes, with 45- and 60-minute visits most common. We also provide sleep-in nights, waking nights and full live-in care. Very short visits are only agreed where they are genuinely safe and useful.

Costs depend on visit length, frequency, the level of support required and whether care is at weekends or overnight. After the free assessment you receive a clear written breakdown with no hidden charges or joining fees.

Can care be funded by the local authority?

It can. Many clients fund care privately, others use a local authority personal budget, direct payments or NHS Continuing Healthcare. We can explain the routes available and support you with the process.

Can you support people living with dementia?

Yes. Our carers are trained in dementia-aware practice: consistent routines, familiar prompts, calm redirection and careful observation of changes, all recorded and shared with families and healthcare professionals.

How do you handle medication?

Support ranges from prompting to full administration by trained staff, always following the prescriber's instructions. Every medication task is recorded in the care record and audited as part of our quality checks.

How do I raise a concern or complaint?

Speak to your client support lead, call the office or email us and we will acknowledge your concern within two working days. Complaints are investigated, answered in writing and used to improve our service.
