Is Zrii a Scam Or Sensible Business?

In the growing market of liquid nutritionals, every few months, the next new product usually creeps into public awareness hoping to make some sort of ripple.  The same goes for Zrii, a liquid supplement that first test-marketed its formulation on October 1, 2007 and  officially launched May 2008 in its hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah.  In its first year of product distribution, Zrii’s (early reports of) $43 Million in sales volume earns them some consideration as a sensible home-based business option.

TIMING:  Timing should be considered one of the most important components when choosing a company to invest your time and efforts into.  You must consider the timing, not only of the industry itself (specifically, are Baby Boomers interested in products of this sort?), but the timing of the company as well.  Start ups can be thought of as risky but with greater risk comes greater reward.  Zrii began shipping product across the US and Canada October 1, 1007 and plans expansion internationally into Mexico January 1, 2009.  A company with under 100,000 reps is considered ground floor, and a top level executive estimated that there were roughly 50,000 Zrii reps as of the end of November ’08.

LEADERSHIP:  Zrii’s CEO, Bill Farley is a branding icon who’s past performance as head of Fruit of the Loom, BVD, Christian Dior, Jordache Jeans, etc. precedes him.  There was initial concern that Mr. Farley’s lack of network marketing industry experience may be a handicap in growing the company using this unique business model.  He remedied this by surrounding himself with 6 co-founders who have extensive MLM experience – each in a different realm of expertise.  So far, it looks to have been a good move.

ENDORSEMENT:  Without a doubt, the Chopra Center endorsement has been one of the fuels that has fired up initial interest in Zrii.  The Chopra Center has never endorsed a 3rd Party product.  Co-founders of the world renown La Jolla based wellness center, Dr. Deepak Chopra & Dr. David Simon, agreed to back the Zrii formulation because they were allowed to make contributions to the formulation and manufacturing process, and consequently appointed members of the company’s Scientific Advisory Board.

PRODUCT:  Zrii’s main ingredient is the Amalaki, a fruit grown in the Himalyan Mountains and has been used for 5000 years as a holistic healing remedy in India.  Because Zrii is said to adhere to strict Ayurvedic guidelines, it’s free of preservatives such as sodium benzoate – which by itself is not toxic, but in combination with ascorbic acid (or Vitamin C) can form the chemical benzene, a known carcinogen.  Amalaki’s health benefits are extensive and includes lowering blood sugar levels, cholesterol and blood pressure levels, as well as having anti-inflammatory properties.

With serious illness becoming an epidemic, more and more people are searching for natural healing such as the teachings of Ayurveda. And in today’s challenging economy, more and more people are looking for a way to make income from home  If you are passionate about wellness, and not opposed to making money promoting it, this company may just be your remedy.
